가 지난 10월24일부터 27일까지 뉴욕의 Jacob Javits Center 에서 개최됐다.
각종의 컨퍼런스를 비롯한 각 회사들의 신제품을 전시하는 엑스포로 북미 사진 엑스포중 최고로 여겨진다. 매년 24,000명의 프로페셔널 사진가와 비디오 전문가들이 모인다.
기간중에는 250개의 벤더, 수천개의 카메라,비디오,, 조명 장비가 전시되며 많은 컨퍼런스가 동시에 열린다.

올해 초부터 급격히 늘어나기 시작한 stopmotion-timelapse기법으로 촬영한 뮤직비디오 인데.. 일단 timelapse 기법이란 프레임단위로 한장한장씩 사진을 찍어서 '쭈욱' 연결시키는기법(1초에 24frame, 30frame, 60frame, or 니맘대로..)으로 '기~인' 시간을 화면을 짧은 시간내에 '휙' 보여주는 애니메이션 기법이다.
예를 들면, 1시간동안 5초간격으로 사진을 찍었을 경우 (3600초 / 5초 = 720장.) 이 720장의 사진으로 1초에 24frame인 영상을 만들면 (720장 / 24frame = 30초.) 고로 1시간동안 사진을 찍으면 이 시간동안 일어난 일을 30초짜리 영상으로'뿅' 하고 압축시킬수 있다(셔터스피드 무시.)

아무튼 단순히 아이돌 친구들 춤추고 노래하는 장면이 아닌지라 처음 보는 사람들에게는 굉장히 신선할수도 있겠지만 보고 있던 나에겐 정말 헛웃음이 나올수 밖에 없었으니 그이유가..

이정도가 되면 뮤직비디오 제작자는 "timelapse기법을 사용하여 촬영했습니다." 가 아니고 "저 영상을 한번 따라해 보았습니다." 라는 말을 해야 할것 같다. 한국 인터넷 유저들이 아무리 외국 Youtube, Vimeo 작품들을 잘 접하지 못한다고 한들, 요즘세상이 얼마나 무서운지 모르는건지.. 물론 이런 느낌의 영상을 만드는게 많은 노력과 정성이 들어갔음을 모르는것은 아니지만..(정말 어렵다!)온라인에 돌아다니는 비디오들이 점점 썪고, 비비고, 무치는 수준으로 발전하고는 있지만,이 뮤직비디오가참고와 표절의 애매한 선상에 있는건 아닌지.. 참 애매~하다.
머리속에 파이널판타지 뮤직비디오 표절 사건이 떠오르는건 뭘까..
timelapse 기법이 점점 늘어나기 시작하면서 처음에는 좌우로만 움직여도 감탄을 자아냈지면 hdr-timelapse, stopmotion-timelapse, 최근에는 hyper-timelapse 라는 요상한 용어까지 소개가 되고 있으면서, 이런 작품들을 어느 분야 쪽으로 분류시켜야 하는지 참 애매하다.
timelapse는 과정과 결과물 그 자체가 영상의 본질이라도 해도 좋을만큼의 매력적인 특성을 가지고 있는 기법이지만, 반면에 차칫 잘못하면 금방 다른 비디오들과 차별성 없이 금세 지루해 질수 있는 단점을 가지고 있다. 결국 어떤 주제로 어떤 아이디어를 접목시켜서 애니메이션을 만드느냐 인데.. timelapse를 소재로 나오는 영상들의 기법 자체를 영상과 포함하여 하나의 창작물로 인정해주어야 할지, 아니면 누구나 따라할수 있는 기술의 하나로 봐야할지(위의 뮤직비디오 처럼 따라할 것이라면..;) 최근에 쏟아져 나오는 timelapse 작품들을 보면 정의를 내리기가 참 힘들다.. 뭐, 아무쪼록 어려운 촬영기법임은 확실한것 같다.. nacel.
Well, hello there, the worst-kept secret in tech.Apple's iPad mini is the company's newest device, a 7.9-inch tablet that's designed to go toe-to-toe with Google's Nexus 7. For now, it'll sit alongside the iPad 2 and fourth-generation iPad,
and as it packs the same 1,024 x 768 display as the second-generation
slate, apps will carry across without any resizing. While Phil Schiller
didn't mention Google or the Nexus 7 by name, the rival slate (and
Google's app library) was compared to the newest iOS device. On stage,
he claimed that the screen, which is .9-inch larger than the Nexus 7,
gives the iPad mini 35 percent more display area than Google and ASUS'
collaboration.
On the hardware size, the 7.2mm thick, .68 pounds
device has been manufactured with an "all new" process that gives it the
same anodized edges as you'll find on the iPhone 5.
If you were hoping for equal specifications to the big-daddy iPad, you
may be mildly disappointed. While it will pack a 5-megapixel camera and
an LTE modem (if you opt to buy a cellular model), it's running the
last-generation A5 CPU. However, the slower internals and less potent
display may account for how the company has been able to squeeze out a
claimed 10 hours of use despite the constrained space for a battery.
Pre-orders for the $329, 16GB WiFi-only model begin on Friday (October
26th) and will begin shipping on November 2nd. The cellular-equipped
models will begin shipping a few weeks afterward on AT&T, Verizon
and Sprint, with the 16GB base model costing $459, running all the way
to $659 for the 64GB unit.

and Sprint)를 통한 아이패드 미니 버젼의 가격은 459불입니다.
